Twitter Spam

Another Twitter Post: after yesterday's post I collected no less than 10 new followers. However, all of them have been offering some kind of services services, like pictures or market updates. It becomes somehow tedious to block these followers. I am wondering where this came from, since I am on the Twitter for some time now. Perhaps the new "retweet" button makes me a target?
