White House Gardening
I mentioned earlier that the White House maintains a Blog which I am actually following. Most entries are about heavy politics, as it should be in these days. Today's entry however is about gardening. The First Lady is planning to use a part of the South Lawn to produce organic food, which is also to serve as an educational tool. It will for sure promote organic produce. Unfortunately, I won't be invited to a formal dinner there any time soon, but it is fun to imagine a White House Dinner where the hosts proudly inform the guests that the "tomatoes are our own." Nice fantasy! Hopefully, the First Dog coming in April won't ruin it.
