Watching Watchmen

Tonight I went with friends to see Watchmen. It is a really lengthy movie, more than 2.5 hours, I was surprised. It goes into long flashbacks to explain some of the background of the "heroes". It had a growing display of violence and unusual male nudity! The story is quite complex. It had its moments of visual brilliance. What did I think at the end? It is overall watchable, but too much of that violence, and some cutting could have been done. I will need to think a while about the story line.
