SyFy

The SciFi Channel announced that they would change their name and logo in July 2009. The new creation will be called SyFy. Wikipedia already took note and redirects SyFy to SciFi. The background of this change is that it represents the expanded scope of SciFi content, and it sounds "less geeky" - I can't follow this train of thought. And, it "can be trademarked". The latter is also the reason for the odd spelling of BluRay, so it must be true. They are coming up with a new logo as well, by now we only have the letters - that can't be the logo, can it?.
