One Year Later

Exactly one year ago my sister visited and we ventured to the La Jolla beach to have breakfast at the Brockton Villa and to see the Seals. I bring up a picture of the Seals below; you can also visit Google Maps - the little dark dots close to the waterline are Seals. They have a good time there, and it is somehow protected. However, for a couple of years now, there is a legal battle about this beach: it is per law designated to be a "Children's Pool" so that visitors and locals with kids have a comparatively safe area. But it seems that the majority of citizens are in favor of keeping the Seals, and just today was another article about this in the local paper.
