2010 Prius

Some month ago Toyota unveiled the 2010 Prius model. As a happy 2007 Prius owner I am glad to see that the new model looks quite like the earlier generation - this may help with the resale value. Notable changes for 2010 include the Solar Roof, but this is only for air condition support: no driving with Solar Energy. Also, no Plug-in support. The biggest item for me is the "EV" mode to drive some small distance on electric energy only. Just 1.4 miles distance is not enough, though. And here goes the loyalty: Let's save for the Tesla then, perhaps the new Model S in 2011 for $50K.
