I joined the "14 Years Ago" game session in Falkensee@Christian's place by PS3 Video Conference. The event celebrates Christian's birthday as well as the enduring playability of some games. In fact, many of the other folks have been friends for more than 14 years, and we had an online Quakeworld session, just like we had in the Good Old Days. I could not get Unreal 2004 or Doom2 to connect, but Quake alone was fun, in parallel to the video conference, so that we could shout and yell at each other. Worked well, only I wish I could remotely control the camera.
