Soltan Banoo

Today we visited the Soltan Banoo restaurant in San Diego, University Heights. It's a small neighborhood restaurant, serving "eclectic Persian Cuisine". We had "Zereshk Polo" (a heavenly mixture of basmati rice, barberries, dried cranberries, tossed with orange rinds, almonds and sweet carrots and Chicken) and "Ghalieh Mahi" (a rich recipe made with Wild salmon fillet, cooked with parsley, cilantro, tamarind sauce, curry and garlic, served with dilled basmati rice, carrots and peas). On top of this there was the Turkish Coffee and Akbar Mashti (Ice Cream with Rose Water).It all tasted very good, and is reasonable priced.
